In Between episodes 88 and 89 in Japan was a TV Special, basically recapping the events of the series from around the start of Battle City up to Jounouchi's current duel with Rishid in the Battle Ship arc. The episode ends with Anzu wishing the series a great next year (Suggesting the special aired around new year) this episode was never shown in English, and only aired on Japanese TV. It was never released as part of the Japanese DVDs.
