Huntik Character Background

Main Characters

Lok Lambert
main huntik characters
Lok Lambert is the main character in Huntik. He is the son of legendary Seeker Eathon Lambert.

Lok was just a normal, fun-loving high school kid, struggling to stay awake in his classes and wishing for a life of adventure. After finding his father's Amulet and becoming a Seeker, Lok puts his enthusiasm, intuition and natural talent to the test as he is introduced to Sophie Casterwill, Dante Vale, and the world of Seekers in Huntik.

A childhood playing games with his father has gifted Lok Lambert with an uncanny knack for puzzles, and now Lok takes on ancient riddles every day of the week.

Despite being son of legendary Seeker, Huntik Lok was totally unaware of the magical world of Seekers and Titans until his teenage years, when a seemingly chance discovery of his father's secret journal put him on The Organization's radar. In no time, along with his classmate Sophie Casterwill, Lok Lambert was sprinting around the city in search of answers. Those answers came to him in the form of Dante Vale, the master Seeker in Huntik, who would become Lok's friend and mentor.

Along with his Titan sidekick, Cherit, Lok and Sophie joined forces with Dante Vale to travel the world as agents of the Huntik Foundation. Together, they unravel ancient mysteries, collect powerful Titans, and try to save the world from the domination of the Organization and their enigmatic leader known only as the Professor.

Learning under fire, Lok improves by leaps and bounds, on his way to becoming a top Huntik Seeker. When he needs a hand, he calls on Cherit, a capricious winged Titan who is filled with wise advice on the ancient world of Titans and Seekers.

Sophie Casterwill
huntik sophie casterwill
Sophie Casterwill is the best friend of Lok Lambert.

Sophie is a book-smart, athletic, honorable and clever young lady of about Lok's age. She seems to be quite proper and mature, but she's not afraid to dish out some punishment when the action gets rolling. Sophie thinks that what she learns in books can prepare her for the real world, and that gets her into trouble.

As the last surviving noble of the Casterwill family, Sophie has been raised from birth to be a Seeker. She is not actually part of the Huntik Foundation, but they have an alliance based on the need to fight evil. When talking gets to nowhere, Sophie Casterwill uses powerful attack and defense magic along with Sabriel, an elegant Titan that favors speed over brawn.

Sophie Casterwill is a daughter of the secretive Casterwill order, a group of Seekers descended from Lord Casterwill, the world's first Seeker. She was orphaned as a young girl when her parents were killed in a massive fire at their mansion in England. Her loyal bodyguard, Santiago, and the family's tutor / butler, LeBlanche, stepped in as guardians and saw to her upbringing and education. Huntik Sophie was a brilliant student and became an expert Seeker with deep knowledge of ancient history. She possesses an uncanny ability to master new powers and has the telltale Casterwill “sixth sense” for detecting magical energy in the field.

Sophie was pulled into a life of adventuring for the Huntik Foundation when she and Lok discovered Eathon Lambert's secret journal. Since then, these two classmates fight the forces of Huntik Organization and delve deep into the secrets of the ancient world alongside their allies Dante ValeZhalia Moon, and Sophie's favorite Titan, Sabriel.

Dante Vale
huntik dante vale
As the top Operative of the Huntik Foundation, Dante Vale is the king of treasure hunters. With the mind of a hard-boiled detective, the body of an extreme sports athlete and the nerves of a cowboy gunslinger at High Noon, Dante leads the team and serves as a big-brother to Lok Lambert.

Dante Vale is the Huntik Foundation's top Seeker and the leader of the adventuring group of Lok LambertSophie Casterwill, and Zhalia Moon. Known worldwide for his wit, strength, and collection of powerful Titans, Dante is a friend to every hero and an enemy to every villain. Along with his signature Titan, the powerful Caliban, Dante Vale has played an enormous role in several major events in the modern Seeker world.

Normally cool, collected and in control, Dante has a soft spot for the bedridden leader of the Foundation, Metz. Dante Vale never hesitates to throw it down and take on The Organization in Huntik. His magic grants him superhuman strength and speed, and he can invoke the Titan Caliban, a monster martial artist who fights with a cleaving sword.

In his younger days, Dante Vale learned under the seeker called Metz, who would later become a Huntik Foundation Council member. His relationship with Metz found him fighting beside lok's father Eathon Lambert and Simon deau on multiple occasions during his youth. Unlike his mentors, Dante Vale is an unusually talented martial artist, relying on his melee abilities almost as much as his Seeker powers. Huntik Dante focuses on and perfects powers that enhance his melee ability more than standard blast and shield powers.

Dante Vale has high ATK and DEF ratings and can handle fighting multiple opponents. Dante's Megapunch ability lets him quickly knock out an enemy.

Zhalia Moon
huntik zhalia moon
Zhalia Moon is a tough, streetwise, elegant and a capable lone wolf, always ready to take on her team's good humor with her sharp tongue and sarcasm.

Few understand the true Zhalia Moon. The variety of roles she has played in the lives of those around her is vast: orphan, daughter, protege, operative, villain, hero, and friend. Adopted as a young girl by the Organization scientist known only as Klaus, she was raised in the company of evil men. Tempted by power and seduced by a need to belong, Zhalia Moon became a devoted Organization agent specializing in the art of subterfuge.

Zhalia's most important spy assignment remains her masterful infiltration of Dante's Huntik Foundation team. Over the course of her many adventures alongside Dante ValeLok LambertSophie Casterwill, and Cherit, Zhalia started to shake off her dark upbringing. She saw hope in them, and she saw a reason to love. It was not until she had turned on these new friends, betraying them into the hands of her adoptive father, Klaus, that she truly understood what she was becoming. That's when she decided to act.

Zhalia Moon was once a rival of Dante's, but now she's part of his team. An orphan, her troubled past is shrouded in mystery. She has a connection to The Organization, but she shows no sign of betraying our heroes.

Her developing feelings for Dante Vale may be causing her to question her loyalties. In a fight, Huntik Zhalia prefers not to get her hands dirty. Zhalia Moon uses magic to enhance her speed and confuse the enemy's mind. Zhalia can also call on Gareon, a small Essence capable of turning invisible and stunning opponents.

DeFoe
huntik defoe
DeFoe is a scheming, self-proclaimed mastermind. He leads the small force ordered to track down Lok’s journal and demands total obedience, even though his tactics often put his own men in serious danger.

Little is known about DeFoe's background, but his rocket-like rise through the Organization hierarchy is legendary within Suit circles. Within a matter of months DeFoe was promoted through Huntik Suitsranks to be a prominent leader of his own Suit squad. Known for his high expectations, efficiency, and sadistic obsession with acid, DeFoe is feared by friend and foe alike.

Alongside his loyal right-hand man, Grier, DeFoe's mission has been the same for months: track Dante Vale and his team of Huntik Foundation Seekers and stop them from interfering in the Organization's plans. With endless hatred, Huntik DeFoe pursuesDante and friends using his squad of Suit operatives, his signature Titan, the venomous Kreutalk, and an array of poisonous powers.

Defoe is willing to do anything to complete his missions, no matter how depraved and evil. DeFoe’s Titan is Kreutalk.

Grier
huntik grier
Grier serves as DeFoe’s right hand man. Rarely speaking, he seems to be an ordinary thug at first, but he carries himself with a subtle nobility.

Grier believes that with The Organization’s domination, there will come universal order that will keep all people in line and prevent wars.

At first glance, Grier comes off as a robotic yes-man, just another arm of his commander DeFoe, but under his seemingly blind loyalty is a much more complex, likeable man. He is an idealist as well as a loyalist, always committed to bringing order to a chaotic world.

Though few are aware of this, Grier was raised on a secret Seeker island-nation called Sutos, where his father ruled as leader. His family had led the people of this nation to an orderly, happy existence before Huntik Grier moved on to the Organization to do his part to bring order to the world using his Seeker skills.

In combat, Grier uses magic that makes him faster and much stronger than any normal human. With him fights Breaker, a mighty Titan that hits hard with a combination of strength and speed.

Grier and the Huntik Foundation Seeker Dante Vale have an interesting relationship, as both recognize the other fights primarily for the good of mankind (though they have very different ideas of what that means). Their conflicts are often resolved between their two gargantuan Titans: Dante's Metagolem and Grier's signature bear-brawler, Breaker.

Suits
huntik suits
Suits are the lowest level minions of The Organization. Dressed in dark suits, they are the pawns Organization operatives use to achieve their nefarious goals.

The Suits' greatest asset is their sheer numbers, but they also make capable spies and are excellent at information gathering. In a battle, Huntik Suits fight with a variety of magic and Titans.

Just as The Organization brings about cold, unfeeling order with the help of savage evil deeds, its troops fight both with the cold Mindrone and the savage Redcap.

Professor
huntik the professor
The ultimate dominator, The Professor lives to control. He is capable of being sly and manipulative, but rarely has to resort to such actions. Normally, the absolute fear he inspires is enough. The Professor has no ethics, and will do anything to expand The Organization and his power base. He is also the type who likes to manage every facet of The Organization himself, and make every decision personally. If any of his underlings fail him, he will not hesitate to have them removed.

Within the Organization, very little is known about the history of their enigmatic leader known simply as the Professor. To Metz, Dante, and very few others, however, the Professor was known for many years by his real name, Simon Judeau. Best friend and adventuring partner to Metz (Dante's mentor), Simon was a Seeker prodigy the likes of which the world hadn't seen for centuries, but this was not enough for Simon. Simon left his friends and convictions behind when presented with the opportunity to obtain ultimate power, which he received, but at a horrible cost.

Simon became the Professor and founded the Organization, an international cadre of Seekers devoted to the Professor's twisted vision for control of the world. The Professor possesses perhaps the most powerful collection of Titans in all of Seekerdom, and he's rumored to have at least one of the powerful Legendary Titans.

Although it is clear that his goal is to conquer, it is unknown exactly why. Huntik Professor's greater purpose is a mystery, but it has to do with his past with Metz, Dante Vale, and father of Huntik Lok, the famous legendary Seeker Eathon Lambert.

The Professor is bound to the Titan Araknos, a devastatingly powerful creature capable of controlling any thinking being, even to the point of rebuilding someone's personality from the ground up.
