In the not-too-distant future, a group of ordinary kids is capable of extraordinary things with the help of their pet robots, the Medabots. On the street or the playground, kids soup up their Medabots with super-smart intelligence and massively tough weapons in the hopes of being the victor when their Medabot faces off against opponents in the next round of competition. Whoever's pet wins gets to keep the lost parts from the challenger and use them to get even stronger. Each kid hopes that his Medabot will be tough enough to make it to the World Robattle Tournament, where a kid from each country faces off to be the world Medabot champion.
