The Legend of Korra Episode Guide

This is a list of episodes for the animated television series The Legend of Korra. The series premiered on April 14, 2012. Like its predecessor Avatar: The Last Airbender, the series classifies each season as a "book" and each episode as a "chapter". The list is ordered by release dates from the airings in the United States.

Episodes 

Book One: Air 

The first two chapters comprised the series premiere.As a part of a special preview, these were made available on KorraNation.com during the weekend of March 24th and 25th, 2012, twenty-one days before the official premiere. Nickelodeon also released the first and part of the second episode of the series for online viewing on April 2, 2012, twelve days earlier than the television air date.After both earlier releases, iTunes released a season pass and the first two episodes at no charge on April 3, 2012. Episodes are available in both high definition and standard definition.All early releases were exclusive to the United States.

Korra leaves the safety of her home and travels to bustling Republic City to begin her airbendingtraining. Once there, she is shocked to find a big city full of corruption and dangers, including criminal bending gangs and a vocal anti-bending revolution.
"A Leaf in the Wind"April 14, 201222
Korra is living with her airbending teacher Tenzin on Air Temple Island. Frustrated with her failed attempts to master airbending, she disobeys Tenzin and turns her attention to Republic City’s famous pro-bending arena. There she befriends two brothers, Mako and Bolin, who compete in professional bending matches. Korra is immediately drawn to pro-bending’s dynamic fighting style.
"The Revelation"April 21, 201233
Mako and Bolin look for ways to acquire the thirty thousand yuans required for the team to remain in the pro-bending tournament. Bolin accepts work from the Triple Threat Triad and disappears. Worried, Korra and Mako search for him and encounter the group of Equalist chi blockers who have kidnapped him. Korra and Mako later learn of an upcoming Equalist rally and attend the mass meeting. There, they discover many secrets about the Equalist movement and its leader Amon.
"The Voice in the Night"April 28, 201244
Asami Sato crashes into Mako, eventually resulting in a date. Her father Hiroshi Sato agrees to sponsor the Fire Ferrets into the pro-bending tournament. Meanwhile, Korra is tricked into joining Councilman Tarrlok's task force which tries to rid the city of Equalists. Korra challenges Amon to a duel and falls to an ambush by Equalist chi blockers.
"The Spirit of Competition"May 5, 201255
The pro-bending championships are about to start. However, Korra and her teammates struggle to work together after romantic rivalries shake their foundation and threaten to end their championship bid.
"And the Winner Is..."May 12, 201266
Korra and the Fire Ferrets prepare for the pro-bending finals as Amon threatens the United Republic Council to cancel the tournament or else severe consequences would follow. At the Avatar and Lin Beifong's bidding, the Council disregards the threat, and Amon and his Equalists attack the Pro-bending Arena and its bending spectators.
"The Aftermath" May 19, 2012 7 7
Korra begins to suspect that an ally is working for the Equalists. Mako and Bolin get a new home in the Sato estate due to the damage of the Pro Bending Arena.
